Founded in 2004, Jiangsu Liyang New Material Co., Ltd. specialises in the research, development, manufacture, and global sale of advanced fibre, porous, membrane, and continuous-foam materials. Our products serve medical and hygiene, technical textile and apparel, filtration and purification, spill control, automotive acoustic, building insulation, children's flooring, decorative wall, and vibration-damping applications.

Innovation and intellectual property

Two decades of in-house research have produced a deep portfolio of proprietary core technologies. The company holds dozens of invention and industrial-design patents, and operates more than 30 registered trademarks — including Liyang, Rongjie, Xinqili, Rongbaole, Shuerqin, Qili Jiaren, Marine Beauty, Le Zai Chufang, Sinsulate, Rocean, and Sintry. Liyang has led multiple provincial and municipal science and technology research programmes.

Recognition

Jiangsu Liyang is a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Jiangsu Provincial Private Technology Enterprise, and a National Quality Integrity Enterprise. We were honoured as one of the Top-Ten Self-Innovating Enterprises of Chongchuan District, Nantong, and named a 2016 Re-Innovation Enterprise of the same district. The company is a Technology Innovation Member of the Spunbond Branch of the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association.

Milestones

• 2005Nantong Liyang New Materials Development Co., Ltd. was founded, marking the start of the company's work in fibre materials, sorbents and filtration media.
• 2014The company was renamed Jiangsu Liyang New Material Co., Ltd. and obtained Jiangsu High-Tech Enterprise recognition.
• 2015The company's shares were approved for trading on China's National Equities Exchange and Quotations, known as the New Third Board.
• 2020During the COVID-19 response, Liyang produced mask filter media and was included in the first national list of key suppliers for epidemic-prevention materials.
• 2023The company passed High-Tech Enterprise certification again.

University and research partnerships

Liyang maintains industry-academia exchanges and cooperation with Donghua University, Nantong University and other institutions, and participates in the National Collegiate & Postgraduate Innovation Competition for Nonwoven Materials. The company currently funds the Liyang Scholarship at Nantong University to support talent development in textile and materials-related disciplines.
